The editorial board of the collection of scientific works “Problems of Emergency Situations” pays special attention to compliance with the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics at all stages of the editorial and publishing process.
The publication does not allow plagiarism in any form, self-plagiarism without proper reference, fabrication or falsification of data, manipulative citation, duplicate submission or duplicate publication, improper assignment of authorship, forgery of illustrative materials, tables, graphs or other elements of scientific work.
By submitting an article to the journal, the authors confirm that the manuscript is the original result of their scientific work, has not been previously published and is not under consideration in another publication, all borrowings are properly executed, and the research results are reliable and presented without intentional distortion.
Authors are required to provide complete and accurate information about themselves, their affiliation, sources of research funding, and the presence or absence of a conflict of interest. All persons who have made a significant contribution to the preparation of the article must be listed among the authors, and persons whose contribution does not meet the criteria for authorship may be mentioned in the acknowledgments with their consent.
Reviewers are required to evaluate manuscripts objectively, in good faith, confidentially, and impartially, avoid offensive statements, and promptly notify the editorial board of any signs of violation of academic integrity or conflict of interest.
The editorial board is obligated to ensure impartial consideration of manuscripts, make decisions solely on the basis of the scientific quality of the material, prevent discrimination of authors, and respond promptly to substantiated reports of violations of publication ethics.
If signs of violation of academic integrity are detected, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the manuscript, initiate additional verification, request explanations from the author, or take other editorial measures in accordance with the nature of the circumstances identified.
The editorial board may reject the manuscript in the event of lack of scientific novelty or practical significance, inconsistency with the journal's topic, non-compliance with the requirements for formatting, or detection of plagiarism or dishonest practices.
If serious violations are detected during review or after publication, in particular plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplication of publication, or other significant ethical violations, the editorial board reserves the right to withdraw the article.
In the event of controversial situations, the editorial board acts in accordance with the COPE principles, ensuring a fair, impartial, and documented review.
