The collection of scientific papers "Problems of Emergency Situations" was founded in 2005 and registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Certificate KV 21459-11259 PR).
In 2015, the journal was re-registered as the collection of scientific papers "Problems of Emergency Situations" (order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine No. 1532/5 dated 04/27/2021).

The collection of scientific papers “Problems of Emergency Situations” in its activities adheres to the principles and recommendations of COPE, WAME and DORA, which provides for ensuring high standards of publication ethics, transparency of editorial processes, objectivity of review, prevention of manifestations of academic dishonesty and fair assessment of scientific results regardless of formal scientometric indicators.
The purpose of the journal is to publish the results of original fundamental and applied scientific research aimed at developing theoretical principles, methods, models and practical solutions in the field of fire and technogenic safety.
